Chocolate crêpe mix

For a breakfast full of flavour!

Ingredients: Whole wheat flour, sugar, cocoa powder, whole egg powder, soybean oil, salt, baking soda, natural vanilla flavouring Contains: wheat, eggs.

Availability: Find this product near the baking section of your favourite store.

Preparation:

Combine 1/2 cup (75 g) of CORA Crêpe Mix with 1/2 cup (125 ml) of milk or plant-based milk in a bowl. Mix vigorously with a whisk until smooth and consistent. 

Lightly oil a non-stick pan and heat over medium-high heat. Add 1/4 cup (60 ml) of the mixture to the centre of the pan. Swirl the pan to spread the mixture evenly. When the edges begin to brown and easily lift away, after about 1 minute, flip the crêpe using a spatula.

Continue cooking for about 30 seconds or until cooked through. Remove from pan. Makes about 3 crêpes.

These crêpes are delicious all on their own, but don’t hesitate to dress them up as you like. For example, one option is to add thin slices of banana and chocolate chips to the batter as it cooks. Go ahead, get creative with flavours and brighten up your breakfast.
