Cora Gift Card Policies

Purchasing terms

Gift cards are commonly referred to as “prepaid cards”. Gift cards are available in amounts ranging from $5 to $250 per card Cora does not charge any service fees in connection with the issuance, activation or use of your gift card. You can purchase. a gift card online at https://www.chezcora.com/en/gift-card. There is a limit of two transactions either per IP address or per credit card, per 24-hour period. Each transaction has a monetary limit of $1,000.

Currencies

Gift cards are issued in Canadian dollars.

Payment

Gift cards are payable by credit card (Visa and Master Card are accepted) only.

Activation modalities

Gift cards are activated upon payment. Gift cards cannot be reloaded.

Terms of use

Gift cards are redeemable when purchasing goods at Cora restaurants in Canada or on Cora Delivery at https://www.chezcora.com/en/order-online/?language=en. To use the card in a restaurant, you can print your gift card or present it on your electronic device (e.g. mobile phone). In both cases, the gift card number and its barcode must be clearly visible. A gift card cannot be used to purchase another gift card.

Refund policy

Gift cards are non-refundable and non-redeemable, except where required by applicable law. Cora and its franchisees cannot be held responsible for replacing or honoring lost or stolen gift cards. At no time will income or interest of any kind accrue to you, be credited or paid to you on unspent amounts on your gift card. Cora reserves the right not to accept or reissue a gift card, or to limit the use of a gift card, if Cora reasonably believes that its use is unauthorized or is fraudulent or illegal. Cora reserves the right to adjust and correct your gift card balance in the event that we believe an administrative, accounting or billing error has occurred.

Balance

You can check the balance of your gift card at https://www.chezcora.com/en/gift-card/check-my-balance/ or by calling 450-435-2426 or by writing to info@chezcora.com. In each case, you will need the card number and the personal identification number found on the card.

Expiration date

Gift cards do not have an expiration date and are valid as long as Cora's gift card program remains in place.

Policy for security of the transmission of information concerning the credit card

Your online shopping is secure. The information concerning you, as well as that concerning your credit card, is sent in the form of an electronic message that has been encrypted to guarantee the confidentiality of the information contained therein. Consequently, this message cannot be intercepted, altered or decoded by an intermediary. Cora meets SSL secure transmission standards, so your transaction will always be routed securely. In addition, your payment is made directly to PaySafe Merchant Services Inc. Cora does not keep any computer data from any transaction concerning credit information. This is why you must resubmit your credit information with each new transaction.

Delivery information and requirements

All gift card orders are subject to a process of matching the information provided by the purchaser on the website to the information about the purchaser provided by the purchaser's financial institution. If there is a discrepancy between the information provided, your order may be suspended until the discrepancy is corrected.

If the chosen delivery date of a gift card has passed and you have not received confirmation that it has been sent, please contact us. You will need to provide your order number and email address. We are not responsible for gift cards that cannot be delivered or that have not been received due to an error in entering the recipient's email address by you. Please verify that the recipient's address is correct and contact us if you believe the recipient has not received their gift card. If an email is returned to us because the recipient's email address is incorrect, we will attempt to contact you to obtain the correct email address.

Reasons for delivery failure

If you have confirmed the recipient's email address, but the gift card has not been viewed within a reasonable time of the requested delivery date, the delivery failure could be caused by one of the following reasons :

  • The spam filter blocked the email or moved it to the spam folder.
  • The recipient's firewall blocked the email.
  • The recipient's inbox is full.
  • The email address is wrong.

If an anti-spam filter is preventing emails sent by us or our agent from reaching the inbox, the email handling settings will need to be changed so that emails sent by us or our agent are not considered spam.

Personal message

If you would like to add a personal message to a gift card, simply enter your message in the Message field of the gift card preview. The length of the personal message is limited by the available space. There is no additional charge for adding a personal message. We don't read all gift card messages, but if we discover a message that is offensive or objectionable in any way, we reserve the right to remove it.
